Seminars are forums in which issues are raised and explored, but not necessarily resolved. They require you to think, to practice the skills of analysis and synthesis, and by doing so, possibly leave with more and better ideas than the ones with which you came. Ideally they go beyond the sharing of facts and probe the depths of the subject matter at hand.

JPI encourages games and sports. In the sprawling campus of the college, there are Separate Playgrounds for Football, Cricket & Badminton. Both Indoor & Outdoor games are given emphasis. JPI conducts football, cricket and badminton tournament at regular intervals. The successful students-sportsmen are awarded by the Institute.

College life is one of the most exciting and important phases in anyone’s life. During this period, a student comes across several experiences, and learns new things. A cultural event is not just for fun, it adds value to a student’s learning experience. In fact you have to say that importance of cultural and technical events in college equals the importance of studies.

It is important to receive good grades during your college career however, being involved in extracurricular activities and getting work experience is valued more. Extracurricular activities allow you to get hands-on experience in the field you will be working in, make connections with people, and it can really show someone your valuable work ethic.
